Senior Strategy Manager
role within the
Energy sector
is a pivotal position in a high-impact Strategy function driving transformational change across the business. As the company undergoes significant expansion and strategic evolution, this role offers an opportunity to shape group-wide direction, influence financial and operational performance, and contribute meaningfully to long-term success.Reporting directly to Strategy and Corporate Development C-suite, you will design and implement the Group Strategic Plan, lead and support multiple high-priority strategic projects, work cross-functionally and globally to identify opportunities, challenge conventional thinking, and ensure delivery of tangible outcomes. You will also serve as a strategic coach—strengthening capability within the function and across the broader business.With a strong emphasis on growth, transformation, and executive-level influence, this role requires engaging senior stakeholders, contributing to Executive Committee presentations, and aligning strategy with the organisation’s financial and operational objectives.Key Objectives
Lead and manage strategic and corporate development projects aligned with the business’s growth ambitions.Influence and engage senior leadership, including the C-suite, through data-driven insights and impactful ExCo presentations.Drive cross-functional collaboration to identify and implement long-term growth and value creation opportunities.Provide expertise in
MandA , including deal structuring, transaction management, and coordination with external advisors.Deliver financial and operational analysis to support strategic decision-making and investment cases.Coach and develop strategic capability within teams, acting as a thought partner across the business.Promote innovation and transformation by challenging traditional approaches and introducing fresh strategic perspectives.Ensure delivery against strategic objectives through effective stakeholder management and project execution.You will bring a minimum of 10 years’
experience
in a Strategy consultancy, ideally within an international and complex environment. Strong analytical ability, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement are essential.
