What You Will Do

As a Teaching Assistant, you will step into local schools to provide vital support to teachers and help pupils achieve their full potential.

• Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in managing the classroom, preparing resources, and keeping students engaged.
• Small Group Intervention: Lead small group activities in literacy, numeracy, and reading to help close learning gaps.
• 1:1 Pupil Support: Provide targeted assistance to pupils who need extra academic or emotional help, including those with mild SEND requirements.
• Adaptability: Easily integrate into different school environments, quickly building a strong rapport with both staff and children.

What We Look For

• Experience: Previous experience working or volunteering with children (schools, tutoring, sports coaching, or youth work).
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, a high level of patience, and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
• Qualifications: A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification is highly desirable, but relevant experience is equally valued.
• Compliance: You must hold (or be willing to process) an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
