Robert Half are working exclusively with a multi-site business in Oxford, to recruit a new Assistant Financial Accountant to join the finance team. You''ll take ownership of cash forecasting, treasury and VAT across several group entities. You''ll report to the Financial Controller and work closely with Group colleagues. Assistant Financial AccountantSalary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annumLocation: Cowley, Oxford (4 days office, 1 day WFH per week)Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week Key responsibilities Own cash forecasting for all entities, preparing and submitting a weekly cash flow file to the Group Treasury team Support treasury management across the entities, liaising with Group Treasury Review the weekly BACS payment runs prepared by the shared services team Take responsibility for payroll and cash balance sheets Prepare periodic VAT returns, and liaise with HMRC and Group colleagues on tax updates Manage multiple bank accounts across entities, ensuring reconciliations are completed within period reporting timelines Reconcile cash collections across all sites Support the onboarding of newly acquired businesses into Group cash processes, including the handling of cash variances Oversee cash operations across the business, ensuring consistent processes and controls Provide absence cover for the cash office Attend occasional out-of-hours call-outs for cash handling ..... full job details .....
