This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong ACA or ACCA qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a complex, large-scale business. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role offers broad exposure across statutory reporting, group reporting, technical accounting, audit, tax and financial controls, while providing genuine scope to improve processes and influence best practice across the wider finance function. The Role Key responsibilities will include: Leading balance sheet control processes, reconciliations and risk management activities. Owning IFRS 16 lease accounting across the business, including technical guidance and monthly reconciliations. Preparing and analysing quarterly group reporting packs. Supporting the production of statutory accounts and associated reporting requirements. Leading external audit processes and acting as a key contact for auditors and stakeholders. Providing technical accounting guidance on evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Supporting corporate tax activities, VAT and CIS compliance.
