TEMPORARY PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK / ACCOUNTS ASSISTANTSALFORD, GREATER MANCHESTER (HYBRID WORKING) 15.40 to 17.50 PER HOUR + IMMEDIATE STARTTEMPORARY CONTRACT WITH POTENTIAL TO BECOME PERMANENTTHE OPPORTUNITY:We''re partnering with a well-established business in Salford that is looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant on an immediate temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong Purchase Ledger experience and Xero knowledge who can hit the ground running.The role will involve managing high volumes of purchase invoices, supplier payments, sales ledger transactions and month-end reconciliations, whilst helping to clear an existing backlog.THE PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK / ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT ROLE:Processing high volumes of purchase invoices using Xero, ensuring accurate coding, matching and authorisationManaging the purchase ledger from invoice receipt through to supplier paymentReconciling supplier statements, investigating discrepancies and resolving outstanding queriesPreparing supplier payment runs and ensuring payments are processed within agreed termsMaintaining supplier records and liaising with suppliers and internal departments regarding queriesRecording daily sales transactions from various revenue streams, ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliationClearing an existing backlog of purchase ledger transactions and outstanding finance administrationCompleting month-end ..... full job details .....
