SEN Teaching Assistant Daily rate Location: Crewe Job Type: Full-time, Long-term We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Crewe. This full-time, long-term role involves working 1-1 with a student, providing tailored support and facilitating an inclusive educational experience. Day-to-day of the role: Provide 1-1 support to a student with special educational needs, ensuring they engage fully in lessons and school activities. Adapt learning materials to meet the student''s individual needs and abilities. Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Monitor the student''s progress and collaborate with teachers and parents to provide updates and insights. Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages student confidence and independence. Assist with the student''s physical needs as necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience in an SEN support role within a school environment. Understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff. Patience, empathy, and a dedicated approach to student development. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, or equivalent, is highly desirable. Benefits: Competitive salary and job security in a long-term role.
