Health and Safety Advisor (Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Hertfordshire Contract: 6-Month Fixed-Term Salary: Competitive DOE Join a leading organisation in a highly regulated manufacturing environment as a Health and Safety Advisor. This role is an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety professional with experience across multi-functional operational environments, including pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, production, processing, laboratory, warehouse, engineering, or manufacturing facilities. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct detailed Health and Safety audits across production, manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, and office environments. Review and update Health and Safety policies, SOPs, risk assessments, and COSHH documentation. Identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions. Lead initiatives to improve safety standards and regulatory compliance. Ensure effective management of PPE, fire safety, first aid, and workplace controls. Review incident management processes and strengthen investigation procedures. Support and develop Health and Safety representatives across operational departments. Deliver Health and Safety training and promote best practice throughout the business. Work closely with stakeholders to implement sustainable compliance improvements. Provide regular progress reports and recommendations to senior management. Required Skills and Qualifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent Health and Safety qualification.
