Overview and Opportunity
Achieve Hospitality are delighted to be partnering witha stunning 5 Star,3 AA Rosette Boutique Hotel, based in the North Yorkshire Dales. The Hotel''s Restaurant serves both a four course a la carte menu and six course tasting menu with wine pairing, in a relaxed setting. They are looking to appoint an experienced Sous Chef to their experienced and successful Kitchen team.
This exciting key role will be working alongside the vastly experienced Hotel Head Chef and will cover on days off, so candidates must be confident and capable to do so.The Hotel serves Dinner Monday to Saturday and Lunch on Sunday.
ResponsibilitiesCook, prepare and present dishesEnsure that all food is cooked, prepared and presented to high standards at all timesAssist with ordering and stock controlEnsure that all health, safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all timesConfident and capable to cover for Head Chef
Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience as a Sous ChefExcellent high end cooking experience, especially with Meats and FishPrevious 3 Rosette or 5 Star level experiencePassionate about the culinary artsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsWorks well under pressureCan work well both in a team and independentlyStrong time management and organisationProvide own knives
