Supervising Social Worker - Independent Fostering Agency (IFA)

Slough Children First | -38 per hour (Umbrella) | 3-Month Sickness Cover

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join Slough Children First within their Independent Fostering Agency (IFA), on a 3-month sickness cover contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Social Worker with fostering experience to support foster carers and ensure positive outcomes for children and young people.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of foster carers and children placed within foster families.
• Building positive and supportive relationships with foster carers and children.
• Undertaking assessments, case planning and reviews of foster carers.
• Ensuring children and young people are safeguarded and their needs are met.
• Providing ongoing support, guidance and advice to foster carers.
• Delivering training and development support to foster carers.
• Working in line with the National Minimum Standards and Fostering Services Regulations.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
• Previous experience within Children''s Social Care.
• Ideally, previous experience working within fostering or an Independent Fostering Agency.
• Good understanding of the National Minimum Standards and Fostering Services Regulations.
• Strong assessment, planning and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to safeguard and promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
