Pay: -13.75
Hours: Monday to Friday - 07.30 - 16.40
Contract: Temporary with the potential to go permanent

The Role We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy timber yard in Corby.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, outdoor environment and is confident handling timber and other bulky materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
  
  
• Loading and unloading deliveries of timber and other materials.
  
  
• Moving stock around the yard and into designated storage areas.
  
  
• Assisting with the preparation and movement of customer orders.
  
  
• Supporting general yard and warehouse duties when required.
  
  
• Keeping the working area clean, tidy and safe.
  
  
• Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any faults.
  
  

• A valid counterbalance forklift licence.
  
  
• Previous experience operating a counterbalance truck.
  
  
• Experience handling timber or other long, bulky materials would be an advantage.
  
  
• A good understanding of workplace health and safety.
  
  
• A reliable, hardworking and practical approach.
  
  
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
