Health and Safety Advisor London and Southeast Construction Mon Fri, 08 00 Salary: £50000 We''re recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join the team across projects in London and the Southeast, reporting to the Project Health, Safety and Environmental Manager. You''ll work closely alongside the Project Health and Safety Manager, building trusted relationships on site and helping to shape a genuinely positive safety culture. This is a hands-on role covering everything from inductions and toolbox talks to audits, risk assessments and incident investigation with real mentoring and development built in. What you''ll be doing Build strong rapport with teams on site and act as a trusted advisor, influencing positive safety culture. Provide practical HSE support and advice across project activities. Assist the Project Health and Safety Manager with the HandS induction for all employees and contractors on their first day. Support and/or chair weekly Health and Safety meetings with the Project Health and Safety Manager. Support the Project Health and Safety Manager with accident/incident investigation, evidence collation and record keeping. Provide incentives and innovations to reduce Health and Safety risks. Report any situations requiring immediate rectification or the stopping of an operation. Assist in the development of risk assessments and safe working procedures. Accompany the Health and Safety Manager on monthly HandS audits and third-party/external HandS visits. ..... full job details .....
