Our client is seeking a hands-on and reliable Maintenance Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of their facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and being part of a supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking as part of the facilities team, your duties will include: Carrying out routine maintenance and basic repairs across the siteSupporting planned preventative maintenance activitiesAssisting external contractors and ensuring work is completed safely and efficientlyResponding to maintenance tickets and resolving issues promptlyConducting regular building checks and reporting faultsMaintaining tools and equipment to a high standardSupporting room setups, furniture moves, and operational tasksEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational standards About YouOur client is looking for someone who brings: Previous maintenance, caretaking, or practical DIY experience (desirable but not essential)A basic understanding of plumbing, carpentry, electrical, or general building repairsA proactive approach with strong problem-solving skillsA reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learnGood communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and contractorsStrong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloadA c
