The Role – Second in Charge Geography Teacher

The successful candidate will:

• Understand the impact and importance of their role in helping students to have high aspirations, sharing the belief that all students deserve an exceptional curriculum and the very best teaching
• Work within an experienced and successful team, supporting the delivery of exceptional outcomes and progression
• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, focusing on strong subject pedagogy and a high-quality curriculum to ensure all students make excellent progress
• Support the Head of Department in driving high standards of teaching and learning within the Geography department
• Deliver innovative and engaging lessons, keeping up to date with curriculum developments
• Monitor and track pupil progress to ensure high levels of achievement
• Promote the school’s ethos and values at all times
• Support departmental planning, meetings, and whole-school initiatives
