Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with challenging behaviours, emotional difficulties, and additional learning needs.
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence, independence, and social development.
• Work alongside teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to implement individual behaviour support plans.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students, offering consistent guidance, reassurance, and encouragement.

• Compassionate and understanding: Able to recognise and respond sensitively to students'' individual behavioural and emotional needs.
• Patient and encouraging: Confident providing reassurance, positive guidance, and consistent boundaries.
• Strong communication skills: Able to communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents/carers, and other professionals.
• Emotionally resilient: Able to remain calm, professional, and supportive when dealing with challenging situations.
