Production EngineerLocation: OxfordshireType: Full-time, Permanent - Fully on siteThe RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to assist with the scale-up, industrialisation, and day-to-day manufacturing support of our next-generation fluidic products. Working alongside senior engineers, you will bridge the gap between RandD and production by building, wiring, and commissioning assembly fixtures, automated test equipment, and robotic cells.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Scale-Up: Support the transfer of new products into production, tuning processes like precision dispensing, laser welding, and leak testing.Workshop and Hardware: Build, wire, debug, and maintain mechanical fixtures, electrical enclosures, sensors, and basic PLC/HMI controls.Validation and Quality: Assist with equipment validation (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ) and continuous improvement using root-cause analysis and SPC tools.What We''re Looking ForBackground: Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.Practical Skills: Hands-on workshop experience wiring, building, and troubleshooting electromechanical machinery.Technical Basics: Familiarity with 3D CAD, electrical schematics, and industrial sensors/actuators.Bonus Points: Exposure to medical device/biotech standards (ISO 13485), basic robotics, or precision fluid handling. ..... full job details .....
