Production Engineer

Location: Oxfordshire

Type: Full-time, Permanent - Fully on site

We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to assist with the scale-up, industrialisation, and day-to-day manufacturing support of our next-generation fluidic products. Working alongside senior engineers, you will bridge the gap between R&D and production by building, wiring, and commissioning assembly fixtures, automated test equipment, and robotic cells.

• Process Scale-Up: Support the transfer of new products into production, tuning processes like precision dispensing, laser welding, and leak testing.

• Workshop & Hardware: Build, wire, debug, and maintain mechanical fixtures, electrical enclosures, sensors, and basic PLC/HMI controls.

• Validation & Quality: Assist with equipment validation (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ) and continuous improvement using root-cause analysis and SPC tools.

• Background: Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.

• Practical Skills: Hands-on workshop experience wiring, building, and troubleshooting electromechanical machinery.

• Technical Basics: Familiarity with 3D CAD, electrical schematics, and industrial sensors/actuators.

• Bonus Points: Exposure to medical device/biotech standards (ISO 13485), basic robotics, or precision fluid handling.
