The role As an SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with their individual learning, communication, social development and independence. Your responsibilities will include: • Providing 1:1, small-group and classroom support. • Helping pupils access individualised learning activities. • Supporting communication using visual or alternative strategies where required. • Encouraging independence, confidence and positive social interaction. • Supporting sensory needs, emotional regulation and transitions. • Building secure and trusting relationships with pupils. • Working closely with teachers, SEN staff and other professionals. • Supporting personal care where this forms part of an individual pupil plan.
