I''m recruiting on behalf of an engineering business based just south of Cambridge, easy reach of the city by road or rail. They work across a genuinely broad range of PCB design, RF, digital, analogue, mixed-signal and power, and take mentoring seriously rather than just saying they do. You''d be reporting into a senior CAD lead and working closely with a senior PCB design engineer and the wider engineering team. The role They''re after a proactive PCB Design Engineer, from junior to mid-level. Someone with a genuine enthusiasm for layout and a desire to build a career in high-quality board design rather than just clock in and out on routine work. You''ll contribute across the full design cycle: component library creation and maintenance, layout, documentation and release, working with design engineers to turn schematics into well-structured boards and building confidence on increasingly complex work as you go. There''s real supervised exposure here too, developing practical understanding of RF, digital, analogue and power PCB design, working with mechanical engineers on board integration and packaging constraints, and supporting design reviews by preparing material and capturing actions.
