Senior Electronics Design Engineer | -60k+ | Consultancy | IoT, Medical Devices & Robotics

My client is an engineering consultancy working across IoT, medical devices, and robotics. Their team of senior software and electronics engineers covers every stage of the product design cycle, and they''re now looking for a hands-on engineer to join them.

They value strong communicators and problem solvers who can work independently but thrive in a team.

The Position

• Work from customer requirements to define and develop new products
• Design custom electronic circuit boards, including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Board bring-up, verification and test
• Liaise with customers on integration, commissioning and problem resolution
• Occasional client meetings and technical report writing

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of electronics design experience in industry
• Degree in Electronics, Computer Science or a related discipline
• Schematic capture and PCB layout
• Strong analogue and digital design knowledge, including DFM and DFC
• Experience with microprocessors, memory devices, programmable logic, power supplies, and wireless communications

Advantageous

• WiFi, Bluetooth, or Zigbee experience
• Altium Designer
• C / C++ / Python
• Embedded software development
• Prior consultancy or R&D experience
