Estimator / Senior EstimatorBirminghamInternational Building ContractorIndustrial Units and Car Parks I''m working with a international building contractor in Birmingham looking for an Estimator to join their business.They offer a unique turnkey design and build solution across Europe which has taken off in the UK and subsequently being invited to tender a lot of new build industrial units and car parks. Therefore, they need to strengthen their preconstruction team with an Estimator or Senior Estimator.Company turnover is 6bn. However, to put that in perspective the Birmingham region is 80m, more of a regional contractor and delivering projects from 5m - 50m in value. Their preconstruction team consists of sales, estimators, design managers, MandE engineers/consultants and admin staff.The Role- Design concept, cost and price estimation- Negotiation and presentation of contracts (for clients and subcontractors), respectively tender documents- Building contract scrutiny and terms of contract analysis- Quantities measurements, project cash flow prediction- Acquisition and assessment of client requirements, including after-sales service and CRM- Market analysis (e.g. potential customers, projects and competition) as well as support in the development of business, product and country strategySalary wise they will go up to 75,000 for the right person and dependent on experience + package. ..... full job details .....
