This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated, proactive, and experienced in supporting students with a range of needs.About the RoleAs a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will contribute to an inclusive learning environment and provide targeted support to students who require additional help.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide one-to-one and small-group support to studentsAssist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom routines, and behaviour managementSupport students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and SEMH needsHelp maintain a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environmentPrepare learning resources and assist with lesson planningBuild positive working relationships with students and staffWhat We''re Looking ForPrevious experience working with SEN students is essentialA patient, supportive, and empathetic approachStrong communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence working with young people in a secondary school settingAbility to work effectively within a team and use initiativeCommitment to safeguarding and student wellbein
