SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants - Mainstream Primary Schools across CroydonLocation: Croydon, South LondonContract Types: Full-time and Part-time (Monday-Friday commitment)Start Dates: ASAP Are you passionate about making a real difference to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?Tradewind is working closely with a range of mainstream primary schools across the London Borough of Croydon who are seeking dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with mild to moderate learning needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.This is a rewarding opportunity to support individual pupils to access learning, build confidence, and thrive within a mainstream classroom environment.The Role:Provide 1:1 tailored support for pupils with SEND throughout the school daySupport learning, emotional regulation, and social developmentWork alongside class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and support plansAdapt learning resources to meet individual needsPromote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate:Holds at least a Level 1 Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable)Has previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or inclusionConfident supporting pupils with additional needs in a mainstream primary settingPatient, empathetic, and committed to pupil progress and wellbeingHolds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)Available Monday to Friday (
