The Lead Engineer will be the primary point of contact for technical issues relating to the specific product / project, providing oversight, tracking and leadership, escalating to Engineering Management as required. The Lead Engineer will also have the responsibility of identifying and developing continuous improvement projects that help both the "engineering system" and the wider company performance at the plant in Hayes. Responsibilities:Primary Point of Contact to the business for a given product line.With a given product line, supporting new customer development.Development of the cost base, from technical perspective supporting the sale process - use of internal engineering expertise to understand technical scope effect on the standard cost base.Includes Service Bulletin / Service letter costing and charging.Understanding and overview of "standards" for product line.product line trend analysis.Customer Specification overview.Validation of specification upon successful approach, and then with fulfilment / event team ensure Engineering department has all the right information to perform the tasking.POC for validation of customer driven chan
