The company have been established since 1979 and cover 9 sites across the UK with the West Thurrock site being the headquarters. They supple both bulk and packed chemicals to a variety of industries including agriculture, water, steel production, energy utilities, pharmaceuticals, and homecare products. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical maintenance activities to the site, while providing leadership, guidance and direction to the mechanical maintenance team while ensuring project and work meets the quality, standards and deadlines. Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor Job Role: Ensure the safety of the Mechanical Technicians Select and issue work to the Mechanical Technicians Plan and schedule mechanical maintenance work Liaise efficiently and safely with the Operations team and other maintenance personnel Control all mechanical maintenance activities on site using the personnel efficiently Follow the procedures in the management system to ensure compliance with all standards for the site Complete all routine checks following the preventative maintenance schedules Work on asset breakdowns as identified Source and order parts and tools as required.
