Air Conditioning Engineer Glasgow£43,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pmOn-call rota availableAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join my clients facilities management team, working within a well-established local university in Glasgow.This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional maintenance team responsible for maintaining the university''s air conditioning, ventilation and HVAC systems, ensuring a comfortable, safe and efficient environment for staff, students and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning and HVAC systems.Respond to reactive maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns, ensuring works are completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).Diagnose and repair faults across a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.Undertake routine inspections, servicing and performance testing of HVAC equipment.Carry out fault finding on electrical and mechanical components associated with air conditioning systems.Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.Interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals and maintenance documentation.Complete installations, upgrades and modifications to existing systems.Liaise with subcontractors where required, ensuring all works are completed to the required standards.Identify root causes of recurring faults and implement corrective actions.Maintain ..... full job details .....
