An experienced Site Engineer is required for an immediate start on a project in Bridgend, South Wales.

Working for a well-established engineering contractor, you''ll support the delivery of works on site, undertaking setting out, surveying, quality assurance and site coordination duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer seeking long-term freelance opportunities, with the potential to move onto future projects upon successful completion of the initial assignment.

Responsibilities

• Setting out works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out site surveys and measurements.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Supporting quality assurance processes and compiling QA documentation.
• Preparing as-built surveys and records.
• Checking drawings and identifying potential issues.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Monitoring progress and assisting with the coordination of site activities.
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with health, safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, energy, industrial or construction projects.
• Competent in setting out and surveying activities.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• CSCS Card essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
