Senior Site Engineer - Ipswich
Contract Duration: Approximately 18 Months
Payment: -350 - -400 CIS or Ltd Company

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a major project in Ipswich, with an anticipated contract duration of approximately 18 months.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, ideally with highways experience and exposure to structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage engineering activities on site, ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.

• Carry out setting out, surveying and site engineering duties.

• Manage quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) processes, ensuring all works meet required standards.

• Monitor and maintain accurate site records, inspection reports and quality documentation.

• Work closely with subcontractors, site teams and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Support technical queries and resolve engineering issues as they arise.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Senior Site Engineer or similar role.

• Previous highways experience is highly desirable.

• Experience working on structures would be advantageous.

• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and quality management.

• Confident in managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating with multiple project teams.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of engineering deliverables.
