Health and Safety Manager Cambridgeshire (Sites 20 miles outside of Peterborough) We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead and develop health, safety and compliance standards across a logistics operation with an emphasis on ambient food storage, warehousing and transport. This is a hands-on, strategic role suited to an established health and safety professional with a strong background in food logistics, warehouse operations and transport safety. The successful candidate will take ownership of health and safety performance across our main sites (within a 15-mile radius), ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and customer requirements. Working closely with operational management and site teams, you will promote a proactive safety culture, drive continuous improvement and ensure that robust systems and procedures are consistently implemented throughout the business. Key Responsibilities Health and Safety Management Develop, implement and maintain effective health and safety policies, procedures and management systems across multiple operational sites. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation, regulations and industry best practice. Lead risk assessments, method statement reviews, workplace inspections and health and safety audits.
