Our client, a specialist manufacturer of industrial filtration and separation equipment, is recruiting an Assistant Technical Engineer for a newly created role. Working alongside the Technical Manager, the Assistant Technical Engineer will support projects from initial enquiry and quotation through to manufacture and delivery. You will build specialist technical knowledge while developing the coordination and leadership skills to take on greater responsibility. The Role As Assistant Technical Engineer, you will: Review customer requirements, technical specifications and engineering drawings. Help prepare quotations, proposals, equipment datasheets and bills of materials. Support technical calculations and the selection of equipment, materials and components. Liaise with customers, suppliers and workshop colleagues to keep projects moving. Coordinate technical information, monitor deadlines and highlight potential issues. Take ownership of tasks, contribute ideas and support engineering improvements. About You The Assistant Technical Engineer role could suit someone with an HNC, HND or degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
