Quantity Surveyor 32k-40k Bristol We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction contractor delivering projects across commercial, industrial, residential, education, healthcare, and retail sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior Quantity Surveyor) to develop their commercial skillset within a supportive project team environment.You will assist with cost control, procurement, valuations, and commercial administration from pre-construction through to final account.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of QuantitiesSupport tender preparation, analysis, and comparison of subcontractor and supplier returnsAssist with procurement of subcontractors and materialsMonitor project costs and track expenditure against budgetsSupport preparation of interim valuations and applications for paymentAssist with valuation of variations and change controlHelp produce cost reports, forecasts, and cashflow updatesLiaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultantsMaintain accurate commercial records and documentationSupport final accounts and project close-out activitiesAttend site meetings and site visits as requiredSkills and Experience RequiredUp to 2 years'' experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role within constructionDegree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or working towards)Basic understanding of construction contracts (JCT / NEC
