About theRoleWe are seeking a talented and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team at ROKA Canary Wharf . This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-energy, dynamic environment where quality, creativity, and innovation take centre stage.As a ROKA Sushi Chef, youll be at the heart of our guest experiencecrafting exceptional dishes, showcasing precision and artistry, and bringing our vibrant restaurant atmosphere to life. You will play a key role in upholding the high standards and attention to detail that define ROKA.

Main DutiesAs a Sushi Chef, your key responsibilities will include:Ensure the sushi section is fully set up and ready for service, maintaining efficiency and qualityMaintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentationActively work towards mastering all aspects of the sushi section and expanding your knowledge across other kitchen areasPrepare sushi items with precision and attention to detail, always meeting ROKAs high standardsWork and learn from our Senior Sushi chefs and train our Junior Sushi ChefsParticipate in the proper storage of perishable and food items, adhering to Food Safety practices and regulations
