Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager within the Carbon Capture sector who is ready to take on new challenges in their role with an expanding global sales team.
 
As the new Business Development Manager, you will:

• Develop regular opportunities within the CCUS sector by identifying and engaging new customers to support business growth.
• Build long-term strategies to support key accounts and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Help develop business plans to achieve new business targets and ensure sustainable profitability.
• Support marketing initiatives to grow the business, including attending online webinars, conferences and exhibitions to promote the CCUS Platform.
• Review and interpret customer requirements, including specifications, technical drawings and international standards.
• Maintain the company CRM system to record leads, track sales activity and support business planning.
• Work with project management, engineering, quality and supply chain teams to meet customers'' daily requirements.
• Maintain a working knowledge of other Sales Platforms'' activities and targets to share relevant market intelligence and contacts.

The essential requirements for this role are:

• A minimum of 3 years'' experience in a Business Development role.
• Understanding of Carbon Capture basics - ideally selling into Energy Transition.
• Knowledge of the UK & EU markets - ideally relating to Energy Transition.
• Demonstrable record of success in business development role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 50% of the time).
