Maintenance Engineer - Barking

MUST have UK Maintenance Technician experience working in fully automated production factory

(This is NOT an FM role and NOT an automated warehouse role) - MUST be factory maintenance

Rate: up to -40ph outside IR35
Shifts: 12-hour Days & Nights
Sector: Manufacturing / Automated Production
Contract: Long-Term 12 months+

We''re working with an award winning manufacturer with their fully automated production facility and very advanced machinery.

This is a long-term contract role for an experienced Maintenance Engineer, with the opportunity to work on newly installed, cutting-edge machinery and be part of an expanding site.

• Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery

• Electrical or mechanical fault finding and repair (depending on skill set)

• Minimise downtime and support on breakdowns

• Assist with continuous improvement projects

• Engineering qualification - City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)

• Proven experience in a manufacturing / process/ production environment

• Good knowledge of maintaining production or process machinery

• Strong background in either mechanical or electrical maintenance

• Hands-on approach and ability to work as part of a team

• Excellent hourly rate: -40ph outside IR35

• Opportunity to work on a fully automated site with significant ongoing investment
