Business Development Support Manager

Overview
The role will support the Business Development Director (BDD) delivering assigned aspects of the Business Development/Commercial plan across numerous work streams. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career in Business Development. Account Plans - Retention: Support client engagement plans, including communication planning and meetings content and calendar.Account Plans - Retention: Support client surveys and the implementation of action plans.Account Plans - Retention: Develop compelling and visually engaging presentations for client meetings, showcasing our offerings and value propositions, liaising with key stakeholders to support content.Account Plans - Retention: Assist the completion of contract variations, including coordinating review with Legal and the BDD''s.Service/ Innovation Projects: Build effective internal relationships within SSP and support BDD''s to act on collaborative opportunities (e.g., extension of Brands, production of Branded product portfolio).Service/ Innovation Projects: Support with existing and new client innovation projects.Tenders: Assist BDD''s in the compilation and organization of data for tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain library materials for tenders and ensure standard templates, processes and task allocation are up to date for tender activity.Tenders: Work collaboratively across internal functions to prepare and evolve business cases assessing new opportunities.Tenders: Support BDD with presentations and analysis of tender documents.Tenders: Note taking of briefs for external and internal actions; NPD, Purchasing, Commercial, Supply Chain.Tenders: Support Channel BDD in finalising contracts.Key Working Relationships: SSP Commercial TeamKey Working Relationships: SSP Finance teamsKey Working Relationships: SSP Legal TeamKey Working Relationships: SSP Projects TeamKey Working Relationships: SSP Concept Development TeamKey Working Relationships: SSP Operations Team including Central OpsQualifications
Proven experience in administrative management, showcasing organisational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, capable of creating compelling presentations and handling data efficiently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders effectively.A proactive approach with a keen interest in business development, aspiring to progress within the field.SSP is proud to be an equal opportunities employer.
