Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for a contract role supporting Thames Water projects. The position will focus on commercial and cost management across complex water, utilities and civil engineering schemes, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with agreed commercial objectives.Key Responsibilities:Managing commercial and cost control activities across water and civil engineering projectsPreparing, reviewing and managing budgets, forecasts, valuations and cost reportsMonitoring project expenditure and identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesManaging subcontractor accounts, applications, variations and final accountsSupporting procurement activities and ensuring compliance with contractual requirementsWorking closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders to support successful deliveryMaintaining accurate commercial records and providing clear financial reportingJob Requirements:Experience in quantity surveying within the civil engineering, utilities or water sectorStrong understanding of commercial and cost management principlesKnowledge of contracts, valuations, variations and subcontractor account managementExperience supporting complex infrastructure or civils projectsStrong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesProficient in relevant commercial and cost management systemsAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project ..... full job details .....
