About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining the commercial team of a well-established refurbishment and fit out contractor.

This company are one of London and the South East''s leading commercial fit out and refurbishment contractors delivering complex cut & carve, CAT A and CAT B schemes. With over 70 years of experience, they have built a great reputation in the market with project values of up to -80m across Central London. They have a strong pipeline of secured and negotiated projects reflecting their strength of client relationships, repeat business and market presence.

You will be site-based assisting a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a 2-stage tender -15m CAT B fit out.

Key Responsibilities of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Include but not limited to:

• Support the measurement and valuation of work
• Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
• Cost reporting
• Contract administration
• Risk management
• Financial forecasting

Key Requirements of Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Live within commutable distance to Central London
• Minimum of 2 years experience at a main or fit out contractor post-graduation otherwise minimum of 5 years experience at a main or fit out contractor
• CAT B experience is ideal but not essential
• 2-stage experience is ideal but not essential
