The Role Working within a highly skilled manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC turning machinery to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances and exacting quality standards. This is a hands-on machining role focused on setting and operating, rather than programming, offering excellent long-term career prospects and progression opportunities. Key Responsibilities Set and operate CNC turning machines. Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks. Maintain machinery, tooling and production records. Ensure health, safety and quality standards are met. Support continuous improvement activities within the workshop. The Candidate We are looking for someone who has: Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or is time served. Previous CNC turning experience. The ability to work accurately to tight tolerances. Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
