They are looking for a Service Operations Director to lead a profitable Service division that is growing year on year, and they need a strong figurehead to take it to the next level. This is a Board-level position reporting to the Managing Director, where you can come in and make a real difference. The role You''ll lead a growing Service division with a good reputation and a renewal rate of over 80%. You''ll manage approximately 40 field engineers, with the 4 Team Leaders set to report directly into you, alongside a Service Manager and an experienced office-based team. You''ll have full PandL responsibility, with input into pricing, price negotiations and operational costs. The Board sets the annual budgets, and control of the budget sits with you. Your key priorities will be: Improving engineer utilisation, scheduling and travel time Reducing re-calls Bringing in new systems, with the business fully bought into AI and system development Leading the next phase of growth. The division is very strong in the North West and has expanded into Yorkshire and the North Midlands, with the Midlands next About you You are a senior leader from a service, maintenance or field-based engineering environment, ideally within a larger organisation.
