Senior Residential Childcare Worker

You will work as part of a therapeutic team supporting children and young people who need stability, care and strong relationships. As a Lead Practitioner, you will take responsibility for key children and young people, lead practice within the service and support a consistent, relational approach to care. What you will do Act as a key worker, leading assessment, planning and review of care and education plansBuild strong, trusting relationships and role model relational, trauma informed practiceSupport children and young people through emotional, behavioural and developmental challengesLead individual and group work to support positive outcomesContribute to reports, reviews, Children''s Hearings and multi-agency meetingsSupport and guide staff practice alongside the Team LeaderMaintain clear, accurate records in line with SSSC standardsWork a rota pattern, including evenings, weekends and sleepover shifts where required About you You must be an experienced practitioner with significant experience in residential care, education or a related children''s service.
