The role has a view to a permanent role for the right candidate and we have a temporary to permanent arrangement with the school to make the transition seamless. You will be supporting pupils aged 2-11 who are autistic or have profound, moderate, severe or complex learning difficulties.Alongside other trained staff you will:Support pupils'' health needsAssist where necessary with learners with feeding difficulties, including those with a gastrostomy and tracheoscopyProvide intimate care to meet pupils'' needsWork with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to provide effective support and care to pupils, tailoring support to the needs of the individual pupils if necessarySupport small groups of children and individuals within the classroom and/externally to the main class as requiredFollow the school''s policy and procedures for safeguarding, moving and handling and behaviour support including the use of restrictive physical intervention if necessary to keep children safe.Present oneself as a role model to pupils in speech, dress
