This is a varied generalist position offering the opportunity to support employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to wider people initiatives and business objectives. DAY TO DAY: Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, grievance and wellbeing. Supporting recruitment and selection activity, including advertising, screening, interviewing and preparing offers. Managing the onboarding and offboarding process to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience. Developing and implementing HR initiatives that support engagement, learning, development and wider business goals. Supporting performance management, career development and succession activity across the organisation. Contributing to the development and review of HR policies, procedures and people practices. Supporting contractual and employee relations discussions while ensuring compliance with current UK employment legislation. Maintaining accurate employee records across HR and document management systems and ensuring GDPR requirements are met. Preparing, checking and reporting payroll and time and attendance information in line with monthly deadlines.
