Job Title: UK Statutory Reporting AccountantLocation: AberdeenDuration: 12 monthsPay Rate: 50.00 - 60.00 per hourWorking Pattern: Hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days office-based)We are seeking an experienced UK Statutory Reporting Accountant to join a fast-paced finance function and play a key role in the delivery of statutory reporting, financial accounting, and external audit activities across a portfolio of large UK entities.The successful candidate will work closely with external auditors, finance teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure the timely preparation and submission of statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102). This role requires excellent technical accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory Reporting and Audit: Lead and coordinate the statutory audit process for multiple UK entities. Prepare, review, and complete statutory accounts and supporting disclosures in accordance with FRS 102 requirements. Prepare and review audit packs and supporting schedules ahead of external audits. Identify and calculate statutory adjustments required when converting from US GAAP to UK GAAP. Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, ensuring efficient resolution of audit queries.
