This role puts you directly alongside an ACA-qualified Head of Finance, as his number two, with access to areas of finance that many Assistant Management Accountants don''t get near until much further into their careers. And you don''t need to have done it all before. That''s the point. The business has an established transactional finance team, so you won''t be processing invoices, chasing debt or managing ledgers. Your involvement starts at Trial Balance. You''ll be working across management accounts, month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership. It''s a pure management accounting position, with no transactional responsibilities taking up your time. The Head of Finance is looking for someone who already has a good foundation in month-end accounting but wants considerably more exposure.
