The company is PE backed and growing and they are keen to add another member to the team to support the Finance Manager across multiple entities. This is an end-to-end Management Accountant role where you will oversee the month end reporting 4 entities, so it''s essential you''re well versed in all aspects. Communication and organisation is key, with tight deadlines and a problem-solving approach. The ideal candidate will be part/nearly or newly qualified. Salary and Benefits: Salary £42,000 - £47,000 DOE (could push further if the person is fully qualified), study support with ACCA or CIMA, 25 days plus banks and your birthday off. Role Overview: Manage month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments and adjustments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Prepare monthly management accounts, investigate variances and provide commentary against budgets, forecasts and prior periods. Oversee the PE group structure, ensuring accurate, complete and timely financial reporting. Produce monthly departmental reports, liaising with budget holders to review variances and monitor costs. Prepare and maintain cashflow forecasts, monitor incoming and outgoing payments and highlight potential cash pressures.
