We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Technical Support Officer to support their Public Protection & Enforcement team during a period of increased demand.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Coordinate and process service requests, ensuring accurate record keeping.
• Provide technical and administrative support across licensing, enforcement, and regulatory services.
• Process licence applications, consultations, fees, and associated correspondence.
• Maintain accurate records using UNIFORM and other case management systems.
• Support responses to complaints and Freedom of Information requests.
• Produce reports and administrative updates to support service delivery.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in a Local Authority regulatory, licensing, environmental health, or enforcement support role.
• Exceptional knowledge and experience of UNIFORM databases.
• Strong administrative, organisational, and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Minimum 5 years' employment history.
