THE SME ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE: Building on your experience as an SME Account Handler or Commercial Account Handler, you''ll: Maintain regular contact with existing SME commercial clients, understanding their businesses and reviewing whether their insurance continues to meet their needs. Ask relevant questions and assess client requirements, identifying changes in their circumstances or potential gaps in cover. Respond to customer enquiries clearly and promptly, maintaining agreed service standards and keeping clients informed. Work closely with Account Executives and fellow handlers to coordinate activity and deliver a consistent service. Identify appropriate opportunities to sell or cross-sell insurance products where they meet a client''s needs.
