Water Hygiene Account Manager

Location: Salisbury
Salary: -35,000 - -45,000 + Commission

A well-established and forward-thinking company within the water treatment sector is looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Account Manager to join its expanding team. With more than 30 years of industry expertise, the business provides specialist water hygiene, compliance, and treatment services to clients across healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.

The Role

As a Water Hygiene Account Manager, you will oversee water hygiene and legionella compliance projects from initial planning through to completion. The role involves managing client accounts, coordinating operational teams, and ensuring all projects are delivered in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.

The successful Water Hygiene Account Manager will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple water hygiene projects simultaneously
  * Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers across various sites
  * Oversee legionella risk assessments, water sampling, and remedial works
  * Monitor project budgets, deadlines, and operational performance
  * Carry out site audits and ensure health & safety standards are maintained
  * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients as the main point of contact
  * Ensure all works comply with current UK water hygiene regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Water Hygiene Account Manager or similar project management role
• Strong understanding of legionella control and water compliance legislation
• Ability to manage client relationships effectively
• Full UK driving licence
