# Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Cambridge

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Cambridge area on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children''s learning, building confidence and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The school is looking for an experienced and reliable individual who can quickly become a valued member of the classroom team.

**The Role:**

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

- Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
- Provide individual and small-group support to pupils.
- Help children develop their confidence, independence and learning skills.
- Support pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
- Assist with classroom preparation and learning resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.

**Working Arrangements:**

- Temporary position starting as soon as possible.
- Full-time hours preferred.
- Part-time applications considered for the right candidate.
- Initially required whilst the school recruits to its permanent vacancy.
- Based within a primary school in the Cambridge area.

**The Ideal Candidate:**

- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school.
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous.
- Confident supporting children across the primary age range.
- A patient, caring and encouraging approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to use initiative and adapt to classroom needs.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to supporting pupils.
- A genuine passion for helping children learn and develop.
