Document Controller

We are working with a growing construction business based in SE1 who are looking to appoint a Document Controller on a permanent basis.

The company specialises in cladding remediation projects and is continuing to grow, offering a great opportunity to join a business with a friendly and supportive working environment.

The Role

As Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and distributed to the relevant teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining project documentation and records
• Uploading, issuing and distributing drawings and project information
• Maintaining document registers and ensuring information is kept up to date
• Managing revisions and ensuring the correct documentation is issued
• Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients
• Supporting the wider project team with document control and administration
• Ensuring company procedures and document control processes are followed

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a Document Controller, ideally within construction
• Good knowledge of document control processes and systems
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with different project teams
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• Experience working within construction, refurbishment or cladding would be advantageous
