Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, to recruit a Project Manager (Asset Management / Planned Maintenance) on an ongoing temporary contract basis to work from their office in Craigavon.Your new role You will assist the Senior Project Manager with managing and coordinating NIHE''s planned maintenance programme, which will include:Leading on project management of complex and large projects relating to time, quality and budget targets.Briefing consultants and contractors, negotiating appointments and shaping projects.Drawing up realistic timetables and ensuring projects meet time targets without compromising quality.Carrying out feasibilities and option appraisals and maintaining systems to monitor project costs.Preparing reports and spreadsheets showing how costs are apportioned.Assessing risks and progressing schemes swiftly and systematically to overcome risks.Ensuring consultation of all stakeholders, including local authority representatives, tenants, staff representing the client, community representatives.Ensuring that all documents are handed over at handover of the scheme, that defects are handled diligently, and all post-contract approvals are agreed.What you''ll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you must satisfy one of the following criteria:Possess a degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification in a Building / Construction related discipline with 1+ years'' relevant experience ..... full job details .....
